Didn't think anything could top your other songs... but you continue to prove me wrong. ;) This is simply lovely.
Thanks Emily :) That was a nice thing to say ;)
That's beautiful! I'm curious. When you put your songs online, do you record yourself playing on a real piano or do you use a program such as Garage Band? I've been thinking about trying to write my own songs, but I'm not sure where to start. Thanks!
I use Fl studio, (I used to use Music Maker 17)

Hey Michael, I've been listening to your songs while writing/revising this stupid novel....anyway, I've really enjoyed it!--the music, not revising the novel--obviously. I was wondering what software you use, just cause composing songs seems like a bunch of fun. Thank ya!Ellie
Ah oh! I would like to suggest a new instrument. Every song is better with tin whistle, and I really mean that. A tin whistle on Amazon is about $12 and they're super easy to play. They're also Irish....;)
Ellie...you are the craziest person I know...haha...that's why I love you so much... ;) I guess...haha.! And I'm sure your novel isn't stupid!
Ahahahahaha! I looked at the comments on April 1st and saw you answered this question THREE times--not only that--you answered me! Haha! Sorry, Michael. So anyway, my short memory doesn't mean you shouldn't get a tin whistle.
Haha, Ive answered that question more then once on my blog, on YouTube and on my Google+ Ironically I actually have a new program I use (FL Studio 10). ...I'll check out that tin whistle ;)
Oh seriously? Which is better or which should I start with?
Music maker is easy, cheaper but it crashes a lot. FL Studio is more expensive has more potential and is very stable. but be sure to get the right version (of FL studio) the more you pay the more features you get. I have the "Fruty" edition of Fl studio but it only allows me to work with my synthesizer/keyboard. If you want to add audio to your music (like if you wanted to sing in your songs) you would need the producer eddition *expensive*. So if your just starting out and you want to sing along get Music maker 17 for $20 on amazon and have fun.Btw you can download the demo version of fl studio free from their website. The demo allows you to do everything except saving you project.
Too cool. I'm gonna get my family looking into this stuff. Thanks so much.
